Halaqa # 38

  • OPENING DUA
O Allah, bless this Halaqa, allow us to gain, act upon  and share beneficial knowledge. Guide us, forgive our sins and grant us Jannah with our families and loved ones. Ameen


  • QURAN RECITATION
We read Surah Fatihah aloud altogether, then sisters individually read aloud a
few letters/words, ayahs (according to her ability and with the help and encouragement
of her fellow sisters). We read  Surah An-Nissa  from Ayat 75 till Ayat 91. (This was 
inadvertently out of sequence with our previous Halaqa but insha Allah, we will resume 
Surah Nissa Ayat 175 next Halaqa.) In sha Allah, this will be an ongoing part of our Halaqa 
and one day in sha Allah, we will have Khatam Quran and begin again.

In sha Allah, our next Halaqa will be held on Thursday November 5th, 2015 indoors  at our Headquarters upstairs from 10am-12 noon.

that None has the right to be worshipped except You. I seek Your
forgiveness and turn to You in repentance."


سُبْحـانَكَ اللّهُـمَّ وَبِحَمدِك، أَشْهَـدُ أَنْ لا إِلهَ إِلاّ أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتوبُ إِلَـيْك
Subhânaka l-lâhumma wa bi-hamdika. Ash-hadu an lâ ilâha illâ
anta, astaghfiruka wa atûbu ilayka.

اللَّهُمَّ أَهِلَّهُ عَلَيْنَا بِالأَمْنِ وَالإِيمَانِ
، والسَّلامَةِ والإِسْلامِ ، وَالتَّوْفِيقِ لِمَا تُحِبُّ-
وَتَرْضَى ، رَبُّنَا وَرَبُّكَ اللهُ


O Allah, let the crescent loom above us in peace and faith, safety and Islam, and in agreement with all that You love and pleases You. Our Lord and your Lord is Allah.


allaahumma ahillahu ‛alaynaa bil-amni wal-eemaani, was-salaamati wal-islaami, wat-tawfeeqi limaa tuḥibbu watarḍaa, rabunaa wa rabbuk-allaahu

Note:
As for celebrating the new Hijri year, it is not reported from the Prophet, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, that he ever celebrated his Hijrah (migration to Madeenah); neither is this reported from his companions, may Allaah be pleased with them, who undoubtedly were keen on enjoining the good and getting the most reward possible.
The Muslim should follow the Prophet, sallallaahu alayhi wa sallam, and stick to his Sunnah and keep away from innovations in religion.
