Halaqa # 76

Shabaan 28, 1438

3,2,1 Ramadan

Year 4
Attendance:
  • 6 Sisters
  • 1 Junior Sister
  • 2 Junior Guests

Location: Headquarters
Agenda: (please note, we have included many links where you can read in detail more on each subject)

  • OPENING DUA
O Allah, bless this Halaqa, allow us to gain, act upon and share beneficial knowledge. Guide us, forgive our sins and grant us Jannah with our families and loved ones. Ameen

  • QURAN RECITATION
We read Surah Fatihah aloud altogether, then sisters individually read aloud a few letters/words, ayahs (according to her ability and with the help and encouragement of her fellow sisters). We read Surah Yunus from Ayah 1 to Ayah 25.  In sha Allah, this will be an ongoing part of our Halaqa and one day in sha Allah, we will have Khatam Quran and begin again.

  • QURAN REFLECTION

Sisters shared reading and discussed the translation of the approximate meaning. (https://quran.com/10)

  • SISTERS TALK
Sister Megan read the following article:

10 Hydrating Fruits & Nutritious Nuts You Should Consume this Ramadan

We discussed the issue of salted versus non-salted nuts.  Salt being a cause of dehydration
yet being a plus when your blood pressure drops. Moderation seemed to be the answer.

  • NEXT HALAQA and News

In sha Allah, our next Halaqa will be on Thursday, June 8th at our headquarters.

اَللَّهُمَّ سَلِّمْنِيْ لِرَمَضَانَ وَسَلِّمْ رَمَضَانَ لِيْ وَسَلِّمْهُ لِيْ مُتَقَبَّلا
Allawhumma Sallimnee Li Ramadhaana Wa Sallim Ramadhaana Lee Wa Sallimhu Lee
Mutaqabbalah
“O Allah! Safeguard me for the Month of Ramadhaan (by making me see the Month of
Ramadhaan fit and healthy), and safeguard the Month of Ramadhaan for me (by making
the conditions in it such that I take maximum benefit from it) and accept it from me.”
