LEARN A DUA
Upon sighting the crescent moon
"Allah is the greatest. O Allah, let the crescent loom above us in safety, faith, peace, and Islam, and in agreement with all that You love and pleases You. Our Lord and your Lord is Allah."
Allâhu akbaru. Allâhumma ahillahu calaynâ bi-l-amni, wa-l-îmâni, wa s-salâmati, wa-l-islâmi, wa t-tawfîqi limâ tuhibbu rabbanâ wa tardâ. Rabbunâ wa rabbuka l-lâhu.
- SISTERS TALK
Sister Sara presented an introductory talk to the 10 Qira’at and played for us a video that had Surah Fatihah read by the same reciter in all 10 Qira’at. The sisters were asked to listen carefully and try to distinguish the subtle differences between them.
- VIDEO
A question arose about tafseer videos for children, so we had a look at the following video.
