Tajweed for Beginners Prepared by Qari Ismail Essack
We now have a Tajweed Channel and Group on Telegram, where Sisters can catch up on missed lessons and participate in group discussions. Email us if you would like to join.
Sister Shimaa was unable to attend, so we postponed the lesson.
Instead, Sister Winnie pointed out that the website we are currently using for the English Approximation www.quran.com also has some really nice features for Tajweed and contemplation.
When you open the settings of the website, you can
choose from a variety of Translations
In the “Select Font” section, if you choose “Tajweed Text”, it will highlight the tajweed rules. The other fonts will allow you to hover over the Arabic words and see the translation and listen to the pronunciation.
Next to each verse, you get options to copy, read tafsir, share and read reflections from www.QuranReflect.com
