Wudu and Dua

Attendance:

• OPENING DUA

• QURAN RECITATION

We read Surah Faatihah aloud altogether, then sisters individually read aloud a few letters/words, ayahs (according to her ability and with the help and encouragement of her fellow sisters).  We read Surah Baqarah from Ayat 30 till Ayat 48.  In sha Allah, this will be an ongoing part of our halaqa and one day in sha Allah, we will have Khatam Quran and begin again.

• SISTER’S TALK

Sister Rim presented a very informative talk on Wudu, according to the way Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him performed it.

  Topics included:

• Common mistakes or innovations people make in Wudu
• What is and is not considered to void Wudu.
• Benefits of Wudu.

After her talk the sisters delved more into the topic of purification in regards to menses and decided that we should have a halaqa with that topic.   Stayed tuned!  

• LEARN A DUA

The Excellence of Remembering Allah

Sister Winnie presented a dua taken from The Quran reading earlier:

• SISTER’S TALK

Sister Sara presented a heartfelt talk on Dua - Weapon of the Believer with personal reflections on how her life has been positively impacted by Dua. Some sisters shared their own experiences with Dua’s and how Allah, Most High,  can answer you Dua in ways you did not expect.

Mufti Menk reminds us to make dua (supplication) whenever the thought and opportunity rises. Don't save it for later!

2.Sunnah Way to Perform Wudu (Ablution) 4:22

Sunnah Way to Perform Wudu (Ablution) in the light of The Holy Qur'an & authentic Ahadith of the Prophet (pbuh).
