Sister Mai read Surah Fatihah as the other sisters read silently with her, then Sister Alia read Surah Maryam verses 12-25 followed by Sister Rim, reading the English Approximation.  In sha Allah, this will be an ongoing part of our Halaqa and one day in sha Allah, we will have Khatam Quran and begin again.

We decided to do more research on tafsir #3.

In last week's tafsir, there was a mention of the different pronunciation of the name Zakariya, We did some research and discovered that the name can be spelled in two different ways in Arabic and thus the different pronunciation.  We continued our discussion about the different readings of the Quran, “Qiraat” and in shaa Allah, we will have a lesson on this in the future.

Quran: Tajweed

We are following a book from our library that is not copyrighted.
